If you don't understand the difference, your e-mail is most likely spam. Spam is the vernacular term for unsolicited commercial e-mail or UCE. When you send UCE, you annoy people. The only time you should send me e-mail is when you have a prior established business relationship with me AND I have explicitly granted you permission to send me e-mail. Hope this helps.
